So as many know, Cody and I are expecting our first little one. We are very excited to have a little Maddie Ruth in our home. I notice our flowers blooming (between snow storms) and think of the new life that has entered into our lives and it is pretty amazing. It was very exciting to hear her heart beat, find out the gender, discover that I am growing too fast (ok not so fun) and to work on preparing for her arrival. Cody has done a fabulous job on the nursery and I patiently wait for its completion to fill it up. We are so lucky to have such great parents and family members who have shown us by example how to be the best parents around. Hopefully we can follow in their footsteps.
Here is Maddie so far...
Maddie at her 16 Week appointment which I thought was 13 (who tracks their periods right I just try to forget them)

and I think she has her dad's feet (hopefully she will be tall like him too!)

I didn't know that you were expecting! Little girls are so much fun, I am so excited for you guys! You have to let me know when you are having one of your baby showers, we are always using the blanket you got Whitney, she sleeps swaddled in it every night! And I am loving the name- Me and my brother Dave sure miss your Grandma Ruth! I hope you are feeling well!

Okay Alli, we were wondering if you were ever going to post about Maddie. I thought for sure you would have the baby counter up in the corner a long time ago, but you proved me wrong. ha ha!! We need to come down again, hang out, and laugh like always. It's going on a three week drought.
