my mom has all of these philosophies and one of them is when a baby sleeps with thier arms above thier head it is a sign that they are a happy baby. i guess she is right. 
maddie loves to smile (when she is not crying). we found out that Outback Steakhouse is not one of her favorite restaurants, everytime we have gone we have a sad baby. luckily my mom has the touch and got her right to sleep before everyone in the restaurant wanted to leave.

oh my heck, i just laughed out loud at that big smile-i love that happy baby. last night i checked on ethan and he was sleeping with his arms above his head, thought the same thing, happy baby!
