Jon Wade, PhD
Jonny, my sister Emily's husband, walked today and received his PhD from Vanderbilt. I cannot imagine the mental strength one must have to obtain such a degree. As many are aware Nashville has been struck from recent flooding which lead to nearly total loss of Em and Jon's condo. So thier week of celebration was changed to a state of emergency and repair. In all this turmoil we hope they are able to find peace, happiness and a moment to celebrate thier great achievement!

I love his big ear!!! Thanks Alli, that was some perfect comic relief. Despite the craziness with the flood, the graduation was awesome! Love you guys and can't wait to see you!
