Fathers Day Fun

We tried to give Cody a special weekend to celebrate the great dad he is. First we went to the Bees game and were a little disappointed to find a sold out crowd and were stuck on the grass. The grass ended up being great Maddie met some new friends and we were close to the ice cream stand :-)









Next we headed to Strawberry Res to try our hand at a little fishing. We have been beat by this lake one too many visits and sadly Fathers Day was only a little better. Cody caught one Cutthroat but we have a great feast of BBQ ribs (which we shared with the family-less dads fishing next to us and they were stoked), watermelon, asparagus and shrimp. Maddie and Cody loved the "lobsters" aka craw dads















We think this dad is pretty great especially when he plays my little pony with Maddie like nanny plays Walter and Chalkadick with the grand kids.
