At just under 13 months, we finally got our insurance straightened out and were able to get Maddie into her 1 year check up. We walked right in and got undressed to get her latest stats. We were excited to see she was back on the charts on weight. I give food the credit for that. Maddie loves to eat. If there is someone with food or the sound of food Maddie becomes like a little dog begging for some. I have only found one thing she doesn't care for, Asparagus. She will make funny faces or stick her tongue out with cold, sour and sometimes foods mixed together but will continue to eat it up. She measures up at the following:
Weight: 17 lbs 12 oz (3%)
Height: 29 in (34%)
Head 44.4 cm (23%)
We went back to our room to wait for the Doctors arrival. I don't know that she knew what she was in for later...
She had to proudly show how well she can get up and stand for the pictures. 
She checked out well and received four shots and was a trooper. By the time we got out of the office and into the lobby she was calmed down thanks to her fingers and the touch of my undergarments (her new favorite thing since she stopped nursing). She was smiling by the time we buckled her in and off we go thanks to those giraffes again.

she seriously gets cuter every picture. 3 % in weight!!!! WAY TO GO MADDIE!! it looks like she's not just going to be cute, but really smart too (cause she loves the books!)
