Barclay Cabin

We were able to join are great friends for a weekend full of fun! We got to ride in our first snow cat, watch others ride snowmobiles, watch Cody and Josh hit a little jump snowboarding, Jenna snowboard and me snowplow (the hill was way to steep for me!), watch movies, play dance add on and eat delicious food.

We just love our little snow bunny.

first dip

We made another visit to St George for a little time in the sun and to view the Parade of Homes with a contractor Cody works for with his family and friends. Maddie was in heaven with the other 6 month old (pictured next to Maddie), a 10 month old (at the game table) and her two older friends Easton and Whitney (by thier dad, Nick, the contractor Cody works for).
Cody's parents were also down there so we all met up with Olivia et al to go swimming at the Wright's indoor pool.

Maddie wasn't having it at first but soon warmed up the idea as long as Cody was moving.

from the bottle

Because Maddie is so small I wanted to make sure I was giving her the adequate amount of food so I tried feeding her pumped milk in a bottle for the first time. She wasn't sure at first but loved that she was in charge and handled the bottle well for a first timer.

the sit up

Although we don't have the best quality (video from my phone) we have finally captured Madeleine's sit up. The doctor said she may be small but surely isn't weak I guess she is a good combo of Cody and I.

6 month check up

Madeleine and I just returned home from her 6 month check up. Dr Reese says she is as healthy as can be and couldn't believe she does sit ups already. Although she is a little tyke she is keeping up with "her curve." Her current stats:
Weight 13 lbs 6 oz (7%)
Height 25 1/2" (40%)
Head Circ 41.7 cm (27%)
She was not her typically happy self after the appointment. Now she is sleeping soundly. Hopefully she has forgotten this morning events when she awakes.

birthday weekend

We packed our bags and headed south with some friends to celebrate Jenna and my birthdays and Maddie's 6 month birthday. We made a quick visit to Vegas for a little shopping on Friday and then enjoyed the sunny St George weather Saturday and Sunday with a little tennis, golf, games, espn, movies and more shopping. We were to busy having fun to get any pictures but here is the group and our little Maddie ready for more.

Maddie sure received a lot of attention and love the whole time so I guess it is no wonder she didn't do so hot in the car.

I think Maddie enjoyed this trip to St George much better to her two prior trips were all she saw was the bedroom in Grammie and Gramps condo.
