Bowling with Bridger

We wanted to do a little cousin gift exchange with Bridger for Christmas and thought the kids would love bowling together. We were right!

Two Month Appointment

Dr Reese had nothing but high praise for our little Kenny and his big sister! He survived his shots and had great stats:
11.12 lbs (51%)
22.75 in (42%)
a small head











There is that big sis again in a pink tutu and purple shirt naturally. She changes her outfit ten times a day and thinks anything pink and purple matches.

Whenever the camera comes out looks who shows up...she sure makes every picture better


Maddie did sit ups but Kenny lifts his head like a champ! Maybe he will actually crawl

Quite the Weekend

The Barclays came for the weekend and Maddie had her first sleepover with a friend.


We went to scheels the new sporting goods place and rode the Farris Wheel.





Kenny got this sweet new tiger outfit from Markell...we think he looks like Mr T in it.

Reading Corner

Ikeas spice racks have been painted and hung with some of our favorite books placed upon in Kenny's room.


But our favorite place is still on Maddie's chair in her room snuggled tight!

Zoo Weather

We have had wonderful weather lately so we packed up and went to the zoo. Kenny loves the fresh air and I am looking forward to the spring and summer with these two!








The gift shop was a hit this time. She was taught by the Bellistons how to enjoy the toy isle but not ask to take anything home. Great training makes for pleasant shopping (well looking) experiences.

She needed a picture with the bears because, "mason loved these brothers, right mom?"


Luckily these turkeys survived Thanksgiving.

spread Christmas cheer for all to hear

I heard the windows of Macey's were dressed up like ZCMI used to do and had been dying to take Maddie. Also I knew Santa would be at the mall and with Liz in a new ward I knew I had to find my own Santa. We were able to go with Pops, Nanny, Alexis, Olivia, Spencer and Vanessa. First we ran into Mrs Frost (Jacks wife).


Then we saw the windows (which were sweet and we would love to go again!) while we waited for our appointment w the jolly old elf.


We warmed up w hot cocoa in the Joseph Smith Memorial.


Cody was posing for "rock on" magazine on a giant boulder ha ha so we had to take his picture while we continued to wait.

Big Girl Bed

Yes she is three and we finally moved her to a twin. She slept perfectly last night so hopefully this transition is completely painless.





She wanted Kenny to have a sleepover the first night. She said. "mom it is big enough for me and Paige and Mason and Ethan is big and can sleep on the floor." She wants to have another cousin sleepover and eat popcorn and candy and watch movies with Pops.

Wednesday mornings

We finally caught Kenny boy smiling on camera. Maddie and I try to make him smile all day. He has hit a little cranky phase so his smiles are only found rare moments between crying or grunting episodes then he falls right to sleep. Maddie copies everything I say. I will catch her saying "aren't you the cutest little bug" and "we want you to stay little forever." We sure love our little baby boy!





We made a bday card for Aunt Lexie and Maddie wanted to do a little finger painting. Here is her tree with fingerprint leaves.

Snow Snow all Around

We woke up to snow! We drove nanny and pops to the airport to visit Jon, Em and Asha, ran some errands and came home to do this.














She mastered the snow angel, conquered the snowman...now I think she needs a pair of skies!


Kenny wasn't as impressed.

Halloween

Aurora and her woodland friend raccoon excited and ready for boo at the zoo.


We had the family over for chicken chili and salad. Cousins buddy and blue dressed up and went trick or treating with Cody, Lu, Liv and Ted.


No we were not confused as to what holiday we were celebrating we only had an Easter basket to use ha ha











Kenny was there too loving his time with Aunt Lu Lu. We are counting down the days til she moves north!
