Zoo Lights
Maddie and I are regulars at the Zoo but this was our first time to Zoo Lights. We joined Josh and Britt and Little Holdy and brought Ethan (who wasn't happy about the change of plans from playing the Wii at my house). It was a bit cold but a great time together.
Early Christmas
Maddie and I were stuck home for a few days and decided to break into some of the gifts under the tree (which did not please Cody) to have ourselves a little tea party.
Thanksgiving
This Thanksgiving it was our year with the Wrights. Since Shannon and Terrie were back visiting Lexie and Landon we spent the morning checking out the Turkeys (and other animals feasting upon their fall feasts, pumpkins and other gourds) at the Zoo with Nick, Jess and Bridger.
Then we ate at the Lindquists with Ben and Natalie. After a good nap we ended at the Redds for a little finger nail painting.

Two
Maddie is officially two. She throws an occasional fit, responds NO! thank you to most questions, learning to go potty on the big girl potty, reads her books all by herself, loves to dress up, but best of all she is so delightful and full of personality! She tells me "belly feel better" after she eats or goes potty, responds that I am her best friend, has a great little shuffle when trying to run and loves group hugs. She laughed and told me "pops kissed my yips" the other day when my dad stole a kiss.

Trick or Treating
Maddie patiently awaited her final debut as Little Red Riding Hood watching non other then Frosty the Snowman

Then it was time to go...the first house a success. Oliver loved it so much he ran right in. Then we hit a few not home or didn't have treats but ended with the best house who came around twice and Maddie picked an Almond Joy, who would have thought. We are pretty lucky to have so many friends that live so close.
